Beauty – Digital Endcap

One of the key elements that came with the New Beauty Concept department remodels was the introduction of digital into the store environment. Immediately we discovered the need for developing a content media strategy, however the screens were already installed.

I was able to solve for this need, but volunteering our VM Design team to animate static campaign assets and .com product content, into meaningful in-store digital experiences. This became a “test and learn” environment, and one of the first touchscreen experiences in a Nordstrom store. From the simply design stories we were able to track customer engagement, placement variables and adaptive content strategies.
